Hot. Hunger. Warm. Craving. Warning. Comfort. Warmth. Fire. Burn. Passionate. Burning. Searing. Pain. Love. Caution. Stop. Attention.

So many emotions and words can describe this potent color.

This weekend the Textile Museum opens an exhibit exploring the meaning of the color red in textiles and fabric. The museum has woven (yeah, I did) a trip through time showing the different uses of red and its significance to different cultures.

Opening Friday February 2nd, RED will be on display through July.
